Comedian, actress, and singer Tracey Ullman began her career as a teenager on stage, eventually winning the London Theatre Critics Award. She began appearing on British television shows and, in 1987, released the album You Broke My Heart in Seventeen Places. Moving to the U.S., she starred in The Tracey Ullman Show, winning five Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe Award for best actress, in 1988, and spawning The Simpsons. She has since appeared in numerous films and starred in several television shows, such as Tracey Takes On… and Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union.
