Internationally acclaimed film director Ang Lee first directed an award-winning trilogy of Taiwanese films, including Eat Drink Man Woman, before his 1995 Hollywood debut with the Oscar-nominated adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. With major critical and commercial hits under his belt, including Life of Pi and Brokeback Mountain, for which Lee won a best director Oscar in 2006, he has become one of today’s most celebrated American filmmakers, winning three Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, and many other honors.
