Renowned pianist Yefim Bronfman is known for his superb technique and lyricism. After studying at the Rubin Academy of Music, the Juilliard School, and the Curtis Institute, he performed in solo recitals and appeared with leading orchestras and conductors worldwide. In 1991, he was awarded the Avery Fisher Prize, one of the highest honors given to American instrumentalists, and in 1997 he won a Grammy Award for his recording of the three Bartok piano Concerti. He is currently the featured Artist-in-Residence with the New York Philharmonic.
